Microcalorimetry uses a set of techniques to directly measure changes in enthalpy and heat capacity that arise when chemical reactions occur. In aqueous solutions, heat flow into or out of the sample almost always occurs in the reaction.
The highly sensitive DSC and microcalorimetry system has a wide operating temperature range from -45 °C to 120 °C; cooling of the calorimeter does not require an external source.
PATENTED Calvet 3D sensor with 93% to 95% detection capability.
Allows use in isothermal or DSC mode.
Possibility of studying samples in all their forms: liquids, gels, powders and solids.
Variety of closed and removable experimental cells.
High pressure DSC measurements (>1000 bar) with the specific use of high pressure gas cells and panels.
