With unmatched measurement accuracy, the PATENTED Calvet 3D sensor completely surrounds the sample and all heat generated is measured with a 93% to 95% detection capability. No matter how small or large the thermal transformation is, the system provides a complete picture of the event.
Absolute calibration: with a three-dimensional transducer the sensitivity of the C80 is independent of:

• Mass and shape of the sample (powder, fiber, liquid, etc.)
  
• Contact between the sample and the transducer
  
• Type of crucible
  
• Sweeping gas and flow rate
