The “Scholar” is a flexible tabletop lithography system that takes up very little space. It even fits inside a glove box, allowing the device to be made or the surface to be modified locally without exposing the sample to air. It is slightly slower and less automated than the other NanoFrazor systems. However, it still performs all of the functionalities that make NanoFrazor technology unique and facilitates new science and technology that has not been done before.
